The Past Does Not Equal The Future in MLM

Many people limit their activities based purely on past experiences. Because they had a bad experience, or someone they know failed in MLM, they till today try to avoid anything to do with network marketing. I can see that as a protective mechanism from future failure, and here the misconception begins. It is in our human nature to seek out patterns: patterns are a way for the mind to make sense of this world. But the mind plays many a trick with our conceptions. Yes, there are laws by which the world is governed and they do indeed stay the same, at least from our vantage point. The problem arises when we take it for granted that the future equals the past and base our decisions on that assumption. Assuming that this observation holds true gets the mind to make incorrect assessments and associations which make judgments, actions defensive rather than progressive.

Beating the Dream Busters

When you have dreams, there will be people who discourage you by saying that your dream is too unrealistic there is no way you can achieve or even tell you that what you do is something wrong. In this blog post I will give you tools how to avoid these dream busters and turn even these people in your advantage. I highly encourage you to not allow ANYONE to steal your dream. All the good that improves quality of life is made possible by dreamers. These are people who withstood an onslaught of any dream busters and went on to achieve their dreams and more. Make sure you spend your time and focus on people who will lift you up, not pull you down. Life goes on, with or without you. No matter how badly things may appear, the sun comes up and sets without fail. Said differently, the universe is here to serve you when you are ready for it to do so.

Do Not Waste Your Success

I just finished watching Public Enemies movie. It is a great movie with some valuable lessons. The movie is about John Herbert Dillinger Jr. (June 22, 1903 – July 22, 1934). He was an American bank robber in the Midwest during the early 1930s. He was considered to be a dangerous criminal who was involved in the deaths of several police officers, robbed at least two dozen banks and four police stations, escaped from jail twice and was idolized by some as a modern-day Robin Hood. The lesson what I wanted to remind to everyone is this, when people do well they tend to party, when people do badly they tend to ponder. But when you do badly you most likely act from point of desperation and that is when you have very few options to choose from. So my advice is this; do not waste your success, if you do well then think how you can diversify and transform yourself so that you can become even more successful and not depend upon one source of success.

What Do You Like about Your Life?

Spending time thinking about what you want may seem like wishful thinking. It is like the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction basically says that what you think about, you attract into your life. Or what you look for, you will find. Of course, to gain anything from it you also have to recognize an opportunity, make a decision and take an action. But it all starts from the intention to find the opportunity.

Maybe you have seen the recent hit-movie The Secret. Some people immediately would respond, oh it is useless; it is one more way to get out money from me. I see that movie as a way to attract good things in my life. I am not saying that this approach is the only one, but there is a question you should ask to yourself, how your way of looking at the world is helping you to become a better, happier person.

How to Stay on Top of Your Goals

I think we all agree that it is important to set the goals. There are many ways to set the goals like; smart technique or writing them on paper or flash cards, but we still fail to achieve most of our goals. So I asked myself a question, why is that we do not follow through. The answer is that we lack a system how to follow the status of goals. By simply rewriting your goals on paper on daily basis you can create a very efficient system how to track and link emotions to your goals. So my wish for you is that you try this system for next six months and let me know if you improved your efficiency.

What is Your Vision for Your Business?

Every business has good times and bad times. Your network marketing business is no exception. Even if you have a significant group of distributers, there are days when things are not going as you wish. The question is what you should do when everything you do is not happening as planned.   The answer is easy, go back to your vision and remind yourself why you are in this business. Vision is fuel to your business; it is a clear picture of a desired end result that you are aiming for. I like to think about vision as it is fuel for your business, and whenever you see that you run low on fuel get paper and pen and write down what is your vision. It will help you to get through hard days and keep your focus sharp.
