At the heart of attraction marketing is positioning you as the leader and a simple blog… Why? Remember what I mentioned in first post, that people do not want to join your opportunity, but rather to follow your leadership, and blog lets your potential leads to see how strong leader you are, how strong presence you have online, and it gives people an option to join your follower list.
Second, by posting regular blog posts you are building your equity. Let assume that you will post one blog post each week with the valuable content. After one year you will have a solid information database that you will be able to share with your potential leads, and also you will rank high on search results. Third, unlike a so-called “opt-in pages” or capture pages, a blog is easy to put on the web and if you will provide valuable content, search engines will rank your blog very high, versus if you have your standard prebuilt webpage from your company which probably will not show up on search results at all.
To start a blog, I strongly sagest to go with the WordPress platform. It is free and it has many free plugins that will greatly increase it is traffic driving ability. Of course there are more options available, but as you will do your research you will find that Worldpress blog is the best option available. Getting Worldpress blog ready and running is easy, but first you will have to get a domain name and hosting account. I would suggest you to start by choosing a domain name. The cheapest way to get a domain is at the GoDaddy.com you can click here get one. There are five things you should considering before you choose your domain;
1) You want to choose the domain that will be timeless or other words will last even if you choose to change the company you work with right now. A good example would be a domain that includes your name, it will never change. A bad example would be a domain with included your primary business name.
2) Second you want to think about your brand name. Later after you will develop a blog you will have an option to build capture pages, for that every time you will need additional domain, so it is good to have a name that it is similar to your brand name.
3) Think about how easy it is communicate. Once you will start to post blog posts and build a list with leads, you will need to communicate with potential prospects, and if your domain is difficult to remember and say, you will lose some potential people. Let’s say you call to a prospect and you want to tell about your blog, and if your domain is difficult to understand it will lower your communication effectiveness. Make your domain easy to READY and SAY.
4) Think about length; try to make it short and sweet. Do not go over three words and make sure that the domain satisfies above three points.

Once your Worldpress blog is up and running you will need to set up some pulgins. Here is list of essential plugins you will need to add to your blog;
All in One SEO Pack- one of the most popular plugins ever for WordPress, this plugin does a bit of everything for you from helping choose the best post title and keywords, to helping you avoid duplicate content and more.
Google XML- Sitemaps an essential tool in any blogger’s armory of SEO tools. While the name only mentions “Google,” this plugin creates an XML-sitemap that can be read by Ask, MSN and Yahoo also.
Smart YouTube- allows you to easily insert Youtube videos in your post, comments and in your RSS feed.
Google Analytics- provides highly advanced website tracking and management information free of charge. Use this plug-in to easily add the code so Google Analytics can immediately begin to track all of your pages.
Digg- Digg adds Digg, Reddit, Yahoo, Twitter Buzz buttons with counters for your readers to easily vote for your posts from your page.
Sociable- automatically add links to your favorite social bookmarking sites on your posts, pages and in your RSS feed. You can choose from 99 different social bookmarking sites including Digg, Reddit, SU, Mixx, Propeller. You can also add e-mail and print buttons. It also supports TwitThis, but the plugin can be made easier by using TinyURL (or another URL shortening service) and automatically logging the user into Twitter with the URL and Title already shown.

Lastly you will need to set up an autoresponder and opt-in form into your blog. An autoresponder is a powerful and very important part of your attraction marketing system. In my opinion this autoresponder is the best because 1) many futures 2) deliverability 3) price and capacity to use with many lead generating systems.
Your autoresponder is a critical part of your attraction marketing; it is what will transfer your prospects from your blog to your inbox. It is also follow up with your readers for you, and help you offset your costs.
